Aluminium Master Alloys

Quality, consistency and technical expertise.
Product sheet in PDF format Metallurg Aluminium leads the world in the development and production of high-quality aluminium master alloys. Our exceptional level of quality, product innovation, low cost and responsive technical support add value to our broad product range. Decades of research and development into alloying applications have made our range of aluminium master alloys the preferred choice of casthouses world-wide. Alloying pure aluminium with a selected element improves mechanical and physical properties essential to the manufacture of high-quality finished products. Metallurg Aluminiums master alloys are a cost-effective, convenient method for precise alloying, and are available in a broad spectrum of compositions and product forms. |

Product Quality
Metallurg Aluminiums pursuit of the highest level of quality is reflected in the rigorous ongoing assessment of all our aluminium master alloys. Master alloy products are inspected, examined for consistency and metal cleanliness, and tested to international standards.
Metallurg
Aluminium’s world-wide production facilities at
London & Scandinavian Metallurgical Co Limited
(LSM) in England, Shieldalloy Metallurgical
Corporation (SMC) in the United States and Companhia Industrial
Fluminense (CIF) in Brazil are each registered to one or more of
the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard. Our Total Quality
Management (TQM) philosophy and commitment
to quality assure our customers that all of
our products meet exacting standards.
|
BENEFITS:
Metallurg Aluminiums master alloys dissolve rapidly, with alloying elements quickly going into solution at relatively low melt temperatures, resulting in:
Reduced dross formation
Minimum gas pick-up
Extended furnace refractory life
Lower energy consumption
