Our people collaborate regularly with leading aluminium producers, research centers and universities in the areas of grain refiner technology, foundry melt treatment, boron treatment and dissolution mechanisms of concentrated additives.

This has resulted in a much-improved understanding of molten metal processing in the modern casthouse, and has led to the development of new and more cost-effective additives and practices for the aluminium producer.

In-House Laboratory Services

Our in-house laboratory services provide detailed metallographic analyses of product samples for our customers. 

Both destructive and non-destructive testing methods are applied to provide comprehensive analysis of product composition and performance. Testing methods include x-ray spectrometer and flame spectrometer analysis, microscopic quantitative surveys of product microstructures, and detailed chemical analysis of samples. 

Product Assessment
Maintaining strict quality standards assures our customers that all of our products will perform to their specifications. Our technical support staff assess product quality at every stage of production to ensure consistency. Our production facilities on three continents ensure superior product quality through statistical process control and comprehensive in-house laboratory testing to recognized international standards. 

Various grain refining test methods, such as The Aluminum Association’s TP-1 test for grain refining ability, are applied to our aluminium grain refining agents prior to shipping to ensure quality and consistent performance.
